How to add Measurements SKUs

1 A SKU is a code for a type of item, and we have measurements including typical size and weight for the item, which will be used for shipping calculation and smart stock location calculation purpose.

2 When you click on the Weight and Size info, a Window will pop up which you can add or edit the size and weight numbers.

In this screen, you can edit the weight and size of the item of such SKU.

3 Find a typical item in its natural form, weight it and input the weight as kilogram, accuracy to gram (0.001 kg).

For size, place the item up right and measure Height, width, length

Input the number as centimetre, accuracy to mm (0.1cm).

There is an option called “Item of SKU are Boxed”, tick it if the item has its own box or its in a cuboid shape that doesn’t need an extra box.

How to add Measurements SKUs

We understand that measuring the size and weight for an item takes time, so we have a feature to give a priority list of which SKU has more items in stock that don’t have complete size and weight information. To access this list, visit “List SKUs” in the main menu, and then select “Measure SKU” action, then you will see the list, the SKU on top with most items and lack of measurement information.
