What is a Warranty Seal?
A Warranty Seal is a kind of special printed sticker that will be damaged if you are trying to remove it.
In the Fulfillment system, we support the Seal Stickers with a unique serial number for additional security.
In Fulfillment App, we have a feature to record the usage of the Warranty Seal, including applying the Seal and removing the Seal. Please note, Warranty Seal feature in Fulfillment App is for record keeping purposes, whether Warranty/Guarantee should be honoured or not, different process and/or management decisions should be applied.

Where to Apply a Warranty Seal
Warranty Seal should be applied to a place that has to be removed/damaged before the machine can be opened, which protects the key components from unauthorized access.
Another useful place for a Warranty Seal is for components/spare parts.
A huge concern for businesses that supply components is the components being swapped to gain access of warranty, a Seal on the component, which with Unique Serial Number and cannot be removed will solve this issue with ease.

How to Apply Warranty Seal
1 First make sure you have an unused Warranty Seal ready.
They come in rolls and each sticker has a different Serial Number.
2 Scan the Barcode of an Item. You can only edit Seal after scanning the Item to show you have the item in front of you.
3In the “Action Menu” in the bottom left, you will find an option called “Warranty Seal”.
4 Type the Serial Number of the seal, and also take a photo of the Seal, this is for Visual Comparison needed for later.
5 You can upload more than one photo from different angles
6 More than one Seal Sticker can be added to an Item because there might be more than one place that needs to be protected and avoid prohibited access.
Repeat the previous steps in the process to add more Seals.
How to Remove Warranty Seal
There are needs to remove warranty seals, mostly when our own requires access, so the Seal needs to be removed. There are two situations when you are trying to remove a seal:
- The Seal is intact;
- The Seal is damaged, broken or missing.
1 For either situation, start with same process, first find and tap on the Seal record you will see the screen in step no 2.
2 The Reason is why you need to remove the seal and if you find it broken, you can also add the reason why it’s broken already.
Enter the the Reason is why you need to remove the seal and if you find it broken – The tickbox of “Found Broken” must be ticked if the seal is NOT intact.
3 If you have more like to say or want to take more photos after Seal Removing process done, you can always use “comment function” to write and also upload photos
4 Once Seal removed, the message present in different colours depends on the remove situation and also in the Seal listing, the Serial Numbers have been crossed out.
